Filius et Pater

Filius et Pater

On the occasion of the exhibition dedicated to Fausto Pirandello, Filius et Pater brought to the stage an imagined yet necessary dialogue between Luigi Pirandello and his son Fausto, giving voice to two figures who were distant and yet profoundly connected.

The performance moves through moments, memories and tensions that marked Fausto Pirandello’s life and artistic search, focusing in particular on his human and creative path, his complex relationship with his father, and significant episodes such as his escape to Paris. On stage, theatre becomes a symbolic space of encounter, confession and confrontation, where word, memory and art intertwine to restore the complexity of a family bond marked by distance, silence and deep affinities.

Through an essential yet evocative staging, the performance offered an intense journey into the relationship between father and son, transforming the stage into a place of dialogue beyond time, between identity, inheritance and artistic research.
