"Gli Uccelli"

"Gli Uccelli"

Two men, tired of the chaotic and corrupt life of the city, decide to flee in search of a better place. Guided by a talking bird, they arrive in a world suspended between sky and earth, where they persuade the birds to found a new ideal city: a free society, far from the rules and contradictions of humankind.

But the dream of freedom soon turns into a new form of power and control, revealing how difficult it truly is to escape human logic. Through comedy, satire and poetry, Aristophanes’ The Birds offers a timely reflection on politics, utopia and human nature, still speaking to us today with surprising modernity.
